What It Is¶
A community MCP server that wraps the Substack Publisher API, allowing AI agents to pull real-time content analytics directly into conversations. Operators can ask agents to analyze newsletter performance, compare post engagement, or surface subscriber trends without leaving their workflow.
Business Relevance¶
- Content operators can monitor Substack analytics alongside other business data
- Marketing teams can correlate newsletter performance with revenue/sales data
- Growth operators can identify top-performing content and replicate winning patterns
- Complementary to CorpusIQ for businesses that use Substack as a primary content channel

Business Use Cases¶
- Newsletter performance review: "Compare my last 5 posts by open rate and show which topics performed best"
- Content-audience correlation: "Show subscriber growth trend vs revenue from the same period"
- Content calendar intelligence: "Which day of week has highest engagement for my publication?"
- Churn analysis: "Which posts had the highest unsubscribe rate - what patterns do they share?"
Integration with CorpusIQ¶
CorpusIQ is the connector layer that lets AI assistants read the systems a business already runs on - accounting, payments, CRM, email, files and analytics - and answer with the source named. It is read-only by design: it retrieves data and never writes to, or acts in, a connected system, which is what makes it safe to point at live accounts.
This page is part of the CorpusIQ directory, the reference we maintain for the MCP server and agent-skill ecosystem. Run alongside CorpusIQ, a third-party server like this one can be combined with a company's own business data in a single answer.
Limitations¶
- Requires Substack Publisher API key (available to publication owners only)
- Community-maintained; verify auth scope before use
- Limited to publications where the API key owner has access
- No write capabilities (read-only analytics)
