Container Tracking MCP - Supply Chain Visibility¶
What It Is¶
Container Tracking MCP (lxxmng/container-tracking-mcp) provides real-time ocean container tracking across 200+ shipping lines. Supply chain operators can query live container milestones, vessel positions, and estimated arrivals directly from their AI agent - no portal-hopping across carrier websites.
Tools Available¶
| Tool | Description |
|---|---|
| Track by container | Live milestones for a specific container number |
| Track by BOL | Bill of lading lookup across carriers |
| Track by booking | Booking reference tracking |
| Vessel position | Current vessel location and ETA |
Quick Start¶

Business Use Cases¶
- Exception monitoring: "Which containers are delayed beyond their ETA - flag with customer name and PO number"
- Inventory planning: "When does container MSCU1234567 arrive at LA/Long Beach?"
- Customer updates: "Generate a status update for all 15 containers for Customer X - include current location, ETA, and any delays"
- Carrier performance: "Compare on-time percentage across Maersk, MSC, and CMA CGM for my Q3 shipments"
Integration with CorpusIQ¶
CorpusIQ is the connector layer that lets AI assistants read the systems a business already runs on - accounting, payments, CRM, email, files and analytics - and answer with the source named. It is read-only by design: it retrieves data and never writes to, or acts in, a connected system, which is what makes it safe to point at live accounts.
This page is part of the CorpusIQ directory, the reference we maintain for the MCP server and agent-skill ecosystem. Run alongside CorpusIQ, a third-party server like this one can be combined with a company's own business data in a single answer.
Limitations¶
- Ocean only: No air freight, trucking, or rail tracking
- Remote service: Depends on trackingmcp.com uptime
- No booking: Read-only tracking - no booking or documentation changes
